Soccer Academy Fan Tour 2020

Details for the fan tour for 2020 are confirmed. Next years tour will take in the beautiful cities of Edinburgh, Scotland and Amsterdam, Holland. Games in Scotland will include a SPL league match featuring Celtic v Hearts.

Two matches in the Dutch Eredivise, will include trips to see PSV Eindhoven and FC Utrecht.

February 2020

Sunday 9^th

Arrive Edinburgh Airport, Check into hotel - Hotel Novotel Edinburgh Park, 15 Lochside Avenue, Edinburgh, EH12 9DJ

Meeting at 11.00am in Hotel Lobby. 

Afternoon Hop on Hop off Big Red Bus tour to explore the many other sights Edinburgh has to offer including: Scott Monument, Edinburgh Castle, The Palace of Holyroodhouse, Grassmarket and many others.

Monday 10^th

Sightseeing bus tour to the Scottish Highlands―home to Loch Ness, Cairngorms National Park, Stirling Castle, and Glen Coe―on this full-day tour from Edinburgh. It's a great way to see more Highland highlights in less time. Traveling with a guide means you won't have to worry about navigation, and you'll gain deeper insight than you would exploring on your own. Bus leaves Edinburgh City Centre at 8.00am and returns 12 hours later. 

Tuesday 11^th

Sightseeing Edinburgh's Royal Mile is a must-see, and there's no better way to check this landmark off your list than on a guided walking tour. (3 Hours) As you explore, listen to in-depth commentary on famous former residents and discover hidden areas you may have missed if exploring alone. Plus, traveling on foot means you'll have access to narrow streets and closes unreachable by traditional tour vehicles. 

Bus Departs to Hamilton from hotel at 4.00pm. 

Evening Match: Hamilton v Aberdeen at New Douglas Park, Scottish Premier League. KO 19.45

Wednesday 12^th

Bus Departs to Glasgow from hotel at 4.00pm. 

Evening Match: Celtic v Hearts at Celtic Park, Scottish Premier League. KO 19.45

Thursday 13^th

Depart Edinburgh, fly to Amsterdam. Departs Edinburgh Airport at 12.20pm and arrives in 2.50pm local time (total flight time 1hr 30 mins).

Check into Movenpick Hotel, Amsterdam City Centre, Piet Heinkade 11, Amsterdam, 1019 BR Netherlands. 

Evening to explore Amsterdam City Centre. 

Friday 14^th

The morning will allow free time to explore Amsterdam, visit the Anne Frank House (book tickets early as this sells out), tour the Heineken factory etc. 

Afternoon Stadium Tour – Home of Ajax,  Johan Cruyff Arena

Evening Canal Tour - see Amsterdam at its most picturesque on a 1.5-hour canal cruise by night. Discover the historic city center as you sail past the Skinny Bridge, Golden Bend, and more. Marvel at the illuminated merchant houses and learn where the local hotspots are.

Saturday 15^th

Depart Amsterdam by train or bus. Time tba

Match: ADO Den Haag v PSV Eindhoven, Kick Off 7.45pm.   Eredivise at Cars Jeans Stadion

Sunday 16^th

Match: Willem II v FC Utrech  Eredivise 4:45pm Kick Off at Koning Willem II Stadion  These teams are currently battling for Europa League Places. 

Monday 17^th

Depart Amsterdam Schiphol airport for USA
