Soccer Academy 2023 Fan Tour

The 2023 Fan Tour are out and we have some truly fantastic games for you! 

Our 2023 Fan Tour will take place in the North of England. Games will include Leeds United v Manchester United, Newcastle v Liverpool, and two Championship Games.

 

Saturday February 11 2023

Arrive in Leeds and check into hotel - Ibis Styles Leeds Centre Arena, Wade Lane, Leeds, England, LS2 8NJ. 

Day trip of your choice

Choices include trips to Liverpool to see the Beatles Museum, catch a Ferry Across the Mersey, take a tour of Anfield Stadium or the Museum of Liverpool. 

You could also take a day trip to York, the ancient walled city. 

Sunday February 12 2023

Meet in hotel lobby at 9.00am sharp. We will go over trip, introduce staff and answer questions.  

Match - Leeds United v Manchester United - 2:00PM Kick Off at Elland Road. 

Watch American international's Brendan Aaronson, Weston Mckennie, and Tyler Adams play in the EPL against Leeds rivals in the "War of the Roses" ! A truly massive game in the EPL calendar.

Day trip of your choice. 

Choices include a trip to Manchester to see the Football Museum, take a tour of Manchester City stadium and training ground or visit Manchester City Centre. 

Tuesday February 14 2023

Burnley v Watford Championship Game - Kick Off 7.45pm at Turf Moor. Bus leaves hotel at 4pm 

Both teams were relegated from the Premier League last season - Burnley are top of the league at time of writing and Watford are in the play off positions! 

 

Wednesday February 15 2023

Sheffield United v Middlesbrough Championship Game - Kick Off 7.45pm at Bramall Lane,  the World's oldest major soccer stadium. The stadium was originally built in 1865 and has been renovated many times since - the last time in 2006. Bus leaves hotel at 4.00pm 

Sheffield United and Boro are both in the hunt for a return to the Premier League so this is a huge game! 

Thursday February 16 2023

Bus leaves hotel at 9.00am to travel to Newcastle in the North East of England and check into hotel. Copthorne Hotel Newcastle, The Close, Quayside, Newcastle Upon Tyne. Journey takes around 2hrs. 

Optional evening dinner as a group at Redhouse Pie and Ale, 32 Sandhill, NE1 3JF, Newcastle upon Tyne. Please let your guides know if you wont be attending. 

Friday February 17 2023

Day trip of your choice. 

Choices include a trip to Edinburgh, Glasgow or St Andrews in Scotland. 

Saturday February 18 2023

Newcastle v Liverpool 5.30pm Kick off at St James Park. Watch the historically great Liverpool team take on the newly minted Newcastle in what promises to be an amazing atmosphere. 

Meet in lobby at 2.00pm or meet us there!

Airfare from USA not included. Fee is based on two people sharing a room.

Trip Canceled 

If the trip is canceled, we will refund in full minus any costs incurred by Soccer Academy.

If the trip goes ahead but you cancel you will not be eligible for a refund.
