Soccer Academy are delighted to be running Travel Summer Day Camps in partnership with Virginia Valor FC.
Prices in parenthesis are Early Bird and available until April 15th!
These camps are open to current Virginia Valor travel players and players who play travel soccer at other clubs.
Complete Player Day Camp
Welcome to "The Complete Player" Camp, where we strive to provide an elite-level soccer experience for serious and dedicated players. Our professional Valor Coaching Staff will utilize the latest techniques and concepts from the US Soccer Federation Coaching Curriculum to help players develop their technical, tactical, physical, and psychological abilities.
Our camp's small group sizes and high coach-to-player ratio ensure that each player receives the personalized attention and instruction they need to reach their full potential. The camp's focus is on developing "The Complete Player" by improving their technical skills, tactical understanding, physical fitness, and mental toughness.
Whether you're already a travel player, or want to join travel soccer, "The Complete Player" Camp will challenge you to improve and reach new heights. Join us for an unforgettable week of soccer training, competition and fun, and take the first step towards becoming a true complete player.

Travel Goalkeeping Evening Camp - Level 3
Our Goalkeeping Camps give goalkeepers the unique environment to improve their shot stopping abilities. Tailored toward keepers of intermediate to advanced levels, keepers will get intensive technical and tactical instruction. Themes covered each day will then be integrated into the sessions with strikers. During these integrated sessions keepers will receive valuable instruction and repetition on positioning, angle play, defending 1v1s, crossed balls and defensive fundamentals; all in live shooting situations. Our goalkeeper education provides an age level-appropriate educational and competitive environment through a completely positive approach where keepers can challenge themselves to reach their potential.

Travel Goalkeeping Day Camp - Level 1 and 2
Through the Camp, aspiring goalkeepers will begin the journey of developing their skills, confidence, and desire for goalkeeping. These half-day sessions will set younger keepers up for success by instilling solid technique for catching, collapsing, diving and footwork before bad habits can set in. Every day will feature a training theme with plenty of instruction, demonstration, repetition, and feedback in a safe and positive environment. Each day will finish with keepers in goal facing shooting situations where we will address the tactical nuances of positioning as well as building confidence.
Players who chose Full Day Option will join regular camp in the afternoon.

Travel Shooting and Finishing Evening Camp - High School Players
The Shooting and Finishing Day Camp is a unique program that focuses on one of the most exciting aspects of the game: creating chances and the art of finishing. This is not just for forwards; it is for any player on the field who wants to improve their attacking skills.
Small group sessions are set up to challenge individuals in repetitive game situations where attacking players need to excel: long distance shooting, combination play, 1 v 1’s, turning and shooting in the box, crossing and finishing, chipping and lobbing, volleys, attacking heading, playing with your back to goal, and striker movement among many.
As the week progresses, topics turn to individual and small group tactical environments that front players face.
